Hornet Swimmers Split With Jersery Shore, Bloom; Girls Fall To Williamsport, Bloom

The Wellsboro Boys Swim team scored a 43-41 win over Jersey Shore and were doubled up by Bloomsburg (68-34) while the girls dropped a pair of races to Williamsport (135-23) and Bloomsburg (78-34) at Williamsport on Tuesday, December 17.

for the boys, sophomore Ethan Pollaro (2:23.91) took 4th in the 200 Free and 3rd in the 100 Fly (1:20.74), freshman Matthew Robbins (24.67) was 4th in the 50 Free with freshman Wyatt Sporer (26.34) was 5th. Robbins also took home 3rd in the 100 Free (54.75).

Sporer also clocked a 1:20.90 for a 4th place finish in the 100 Breast. Freshman Eli Shrawder (1:57.73) finished 6th in the 100 Breast and 9th in the 50 Free (33.89).

The boys 200 Free Relay finished 3rd in 1:54.44.

In the girls 200 Medley Relay Wellsboro finished 8th in 2:29.26, freshman Piper Anderegg (27.51) was 4th in the 50 Free and 2nd in the 100 Fly (1:12.70), and junior Makenna Robbins was 5th in the 100 Free (1:02.01) and 4th in the 100 Back (1:14.55).

Junior Kristina Belz was 10th in the 100 Free (1:16.11) and 8th in the 100 Back (1:25.01).

Freshman Molly Doan finished 12th in the 100 Free (1:36.88) and 7th in the 100 Breast (1:47.41).
