Hornet Bocce Ball Team Edges Williamson

Wellsboro's Bocce Ball team edged Williamson 2-1 on the road on Friday, February 2.

Williamson controlled the first game, winning 7-1, thanks to a 3-point 6th frame. Wellsboro's lone point came in the third frame. However, the second game was all Wellsboro as they won a commanding 9-2 game. The Hornets trailed 2-0 after the first two frames but went on a 9-0 run with two points in frames 3-5 and three points in the 6th.

Wellsboro forced the Golden Frame and won 1-0 to claim victory.

The team is back in action for the final time this season at home Wednesday, February 7.
