Hornet Bocce Ball Team Downs Athens

The Wellsboro Bocce Ball team took a pair of games against Athens in their first home meet of the season on Wednesday, January 24.
Wellsboro won the first game 6-2, rallying from being down 2-1 and scoring 5 unanswered points. They then won the second game 8-2, highlighted by a three-point 2nd frame.
The team is back in action next Wednesday against North Penn-Liberty.
