Lady Hornets Drop Regular Season Finale To Wyalusing

Wyalusing scored four first half goals to hand the Wellsboro Girls Soccer team a loss in their final game of the season on Friday, October 21.

Chloe Bennett started things off not even three minutes into the contest to put the Lady Rams up early. Late in the half, Olivia Haley scored back-to-back goals to make it a 3-0 game, then Vayda Rought scored with 3:26 left in the half to put Wyalusing up 4-0.

Wyalusing out shot Wellsboro 10-8 on the evening. Wellsboro had a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Freshman Jadyn Dunlap made 5 saves in goal.

The JV game ended in a scoreless tie.

Wellsboro ends the season with a 4-13-1 Varsity record and 3-4-2 JV record.
