In the second, Lecker scored for the second time as he cleaned up a Stevens shot. Wellsboro's final goal was scored by Gabe Cuneo with an assist from RJ Doughtie.

"The nil score line is a direct reflection of our defensive line, they only allowed one true shot by simply overwhelming the other team with great play," said head coach Derek Stevens.

Wellsboro also won the B game 3-1 behind goals from Colton Reese, Lane Cozby and James Doughtie. Amelia Hulslander on Doughtie's goal.

The Hornets improve to 12-0-1 on the year. They travel to Galeton tomorrow afternoon.
