Junior High Girls Rout North Penn-Liberty

The Wellsboro Junior High Girls Basketball team ran over, around, and through North Penn-Liberty, defeating them 40-6 on Tuesday, December 5.

Ady Frantz and Ren Gehman led Wellsboor with 10 points each, while Gehman also led the team with 8 rebounds. Emery Butters also pulled down 7 rebounds.

Kate Bryant added 6 points while Butters and Teagan Novinger pitched in 4 points each. Rylee Coolidge, Delaney Morral and Hailey Smith all contributed 2 points each. Smith also made 4 steals.

Wellsboro also won the B game, 28-7. Dillyn Patt was the top scorer with 10 points. Gena Fleming and Maddie Nagy added 6 points each while Hailey Jo Benedict, Maddie Flannery and Hailey Smith all pitched in an additional 2 points.

The team is back in action Saturday morning at Northeast Bradford.
