Wellsboro jumpers Kyle Mosher, Aiden Gehman and Annie Gehman took part in this weekend's PIAA State Track & Field championships at Shippensburg University.

Mosher competed in the high jump, Aiden in the long jump, and Annie in the triple jump.

Annie finished 20th in the triple jump hitting 34-ft, 4.5 on her final jump Saturday.

Aiden finished 17th in the long jump, reaching 20-ft, 3.75 on Friday.

Mosher finished 11th in the high jump clearing 6-ft.

"All three jumpers had solid performances this weekend," assistant coach Kate Gehman said. "They all placed higher than their rankings and were consistent in their jumps. Kyle had another clean sheet until 6-2 and jumped with confidence! Aiden making it to States while dual sporting with tennis was quite an achievement and he gave it his all. Annie was thrilled to be there and is already talking about 'next year at States!'

"Taking the three jumpers for three different events to states this year was pretty awesome! What an amazing experience, the kids soaked it up and truly enjoyed themselves. We're all sad it's over, it's been a memorable season."
