The Williamson Warriors swept Wellsboro on the volleyball court 3-0 on Tuesday, September 6.
Williamson took the sets 25-17, 25-15 and 25-14.
Senior Emily Starkweather led the Lady Hornets with 11 points (3 aces) and 9 digs. Sophomore Paige Logsdon had 7 kills, 3 points, 9 blocks, and 7 digs, junior Natalie Cleveland had 13 digs and 2 points, junior Meredith Brownlee had 3 blocks and 8 digs, and senior Maddi Bordas had 5 assists.
Sophomore Lexi Urena added 3 kills, 4 assists, and 6 digs.
Williamson also won the JV game, 2-0 (25-9, 25-13).
The loss drops the Lady Hornets' record to 2-2 (1-2 NTL Large School Division). The team is back on the court at home on Thursday, September 8 in a non-league match against Loyalsock.
