Lady Hornets Fall To Wyalusing

The Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss at home on Saturday morning, October 8.
The Lady Rams scored once in the first half and added two more goals, while holding the Lady Hornets to just 3 shot attempts on goal in the game. Senior Jordyn Abernathy, junior Abby Owlett, and junior Sara Seeling attempted the shots.
Sophomore Annie Gehman stopped 12 of the 15 Wyalusing shot attempts.
Both teams attempted 3 corner kicks each.
Wyalusing also took the JV game, 1-0, with a second half goal.
The loss drops the Lady Hornets' record to 5-8-1 (4-6 NTL). The team is back on the field tonight for a non-league game against Muncy.
