Hornet Swimmers cap season at District IV meet

Members of the Wellsboro Swim team concluded their season at the PIAA District IV Championships at Williamsport High School on Wednesday, March 2 and Thursday, March 3.

Junior Hayne Webster took home two top-10 place finishes in the 200 IM and the 100 Backstroke. Webster finished 5th in the 200 IM in 2:12.36 and was 6th in the 100 Back in 1:02.29.

Sophomore Isobel Anderegg finished 7th in the 200 IM (2:30.91) and 6th in the 100 Breaststroke (1:16.31).

Sophomore Caralyn Warner took home two 7th places finishes in the 100 Fly (1:13.98) and the 100 Backstroke (1:11.09).

Sophomore Madison Robbins posted times of 28.76 in the 50 Free and 6:17.67 in the 500 Free, both 8th place finishes.
