The Wellsboro Track teams competed at the Bald Eagle Invite at Lock Haven University on Friday, April 22.
The boys team finished in 16th with 13 points and the girls team tied for 15th with Midd-West with 18 points.
For the boys junior Jack Poirier (11.83) was 13th in the 100m and 8th in the 200m (23.96), freshman Chris Greenawalt (5:43.29) was 44th in the 1600m, freshman Joseph Busch (9:24.63) was 21st in the steeplechase, junior Wyatt Gastrock (111-ft, 1) was 10th in the discus, senior Justice Harlan (5-ft, 3) was 26th in the high jump, and junior Aiden Gehman (20-ft, 0.5) was 5th in the long jump and 2nd in the triple jump (42-ft, 4).
Wellsboro finished 11th in the 4x100m relay in 46.22.
For the girls junior Kate DeCamp (14.55) was 42nd in the 100m, junior Ella Posada (19.7) was 27th in the 100m hurdles, DeCamp (30.36) finished 29th in the 200m, junior Liliana Cueno (54.65) was 20th in the 300m hurdles, sophomore Emily Richardson (1:09.25) was 28th in the 400m, sophomore Sara Seeling (6:09.88) was 23rd in the 1600m, and junior Madeline Gage (9:08.46) and senior Madeline Bryant (9:34.94) took 1st and 2nd in the steeplechase.
Freshman Annie Gehman (4-ft, 4.75) was 15th in the high jump, and senior Emma Coolidge (92-ft, 5) was 10th in the javelin.
The Lady Hornets finished 10 in the 4x100m relay in 57.03.
The Hornets are back on the track for a quad meet against Northeast Bradford, Sayre and Towanda at Towanda on Tuesday, April 26.
