Central Mountain sweeps Lady Hornets

The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team was swept 3-0 by Central Mountain on Monday, October 25.

Central Mountain won 25-13, 25-12, and 25-13. Wellsboro won the JV game 2-1 (25-22, 12-25, 17-15).

Senior Olivia Servatius led the Lady Hornets with 14 digs, senior Emma Owlett had 7 points, 4 aces, 4 kills a 7 digs, junior Emily Starkweather had 5 points, junior Madaline Bordas had 3 assists, freshman Paige Logsdon had 3 points, an ace, 2 kills, and 2 blocks. Sophomore Mya Lockett had 2 kills.

The loss drops the Lady Hornets to 7-12 on the season. The team is back in action this evening for an NTL match at Athens.
