The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team maintained their perfect record following a four-set victory over Wyalusing on Tuesday, October 6.
Wyalusing is the first team to take a set off the Lady Hornets this season.
The Lady Hornets cruised to a 25-7 first set win then took the second 25-17. Wyalusing rallied in the third to win 26-24 to force a fourth set, which Wellsboro won 25-10.
Senior Breighanna Kemp scored 24 points and made 21 digs, junior Jordan Judlin had 22 assists and 5 kills, senior Kathryn Burnett had 23 digs, 17 points, and 4 aces, and senior Bailey Monks had 10 kills and a block.
Senior Olivia Crocco added 6 points, 1 ace, and a block.
Wyalusing won the JV game 2-0, 25-13 and 25-21.
The win improves the Lady Hornets' record to 5-0 (5-0 NTL Large School Division). The team will be back in action Thursday, October 8 at North Penn-Liberty.
