In their second league match of the season the Wellsboro Golf team improved upon last week's finish and scored a 2nd place finish at Corey Creek Country Club on Tuesday, September 8.
"The team showed a lot of improvements today and the score proved it," said head coach Steve Macensky. "We improved by 18 shots from the first match. A second place finish at Mansfield’s home course is a good result for us."

Sayre (393) was 3rd, Cowanesque Valley (400) was 4th, Athens (406) was 5th, Wyalusing (408) was 6th, and Towanda (426) rounded out the field in 7th.
