The Wyalusing Lady Rams held the Wellsboro Varsity Girls Basketball team to just 24 points in a 46-24 loss on Thursday, January 18.

The first quarter was neck and neck as the Lady Rams edged Wellsboro 8-7 and Wellsboro proceeded to keep the game close in the second. Wyalusing edged them with a 10-8 quarter putting them up 18-15 at halftime, but things completely fell apart in the third for Wellsboro.

Wyalusing held the Lady Hornets scoreless in the third quarter going on a 9-0 run to extend their lead to 27-15. The only other time this year the Lady Hornets were held scoreless in a quarter was against Danville back on December 29. Wellsboro found the bottom of the net in the fourth quarter but were outscored 19-9.
