Middle School Soccer falls to Towanda

The Wellsboro Middle School Soccer team fell to Towanda 3-0 on Thursday, October 3.

Wellsboro struggled to get any offense going against a tough Towanda defense. Wellsboro's defense played a strong game, holding Towanda to only 1 goal in the first half and 2 goals in the second half.

Keeper Annie Gehman had 5 saves for the young Hornets.

The loss drops Wellsboro to 6-5-1 on the season. The team will be back in action on Saturday, October 5 at North Penn-Liberty.
