Middle School Hornets tie Troy

The Wellsboro Middle School Soccer team tied Troy 1-1 on Saturday, October 12.

The match was scoreless until the 42nd minute when Troy found the back of the net and went up 1-0. Wellsboro responded 7 minutes later with a goal by Caden Smith on an assist from Ian Hoose to tie the game.

Wellsboro out shot Troy 5-1.

The second match of the day also ended in a 1-1 tie. Noah Morey scored Wellsboro's only goal.

Troy out shot Wellsboro 2-1 and Nehemiah Burrous had 1 save in goal for Wellsboro.

The Hornets now have a 7-6-2 record with games at Northern Potter and Sayre remaining.
