Jersey Shore shuts out Wellsboro, 3-0

The Wellsboro Girls Soccer team suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Jersey Shore on Saturday, October 12.

The Lady Bulldogs the Lady Horents to just 5 shots on goal during the game while they controlled the pace and took 14 shots. Jersey Shore scored once in the 1st period with 13:29. Later in the 2nd period they added 2 more goals, one with 18:45 to play and the final one with 11:44 to go.

Sophomore Lilly Abadi made 8 saves in goal.

The loss drops the Lady Hornets to 8-6-1 (7-4-1 NTL). The team is back in action at Athens on Monday, October 14.
