The Wellsboro Track teams took part in the Molly Dry Invite at Mansfield University on Friday, April 12.
The boys team finished 9th overall with 32 team points and the girls finished tied for 19th with 5 points.
For the boys senior Aidan Perry (8:24.88) finished 14th in the 2000m steeplechase, junior Alex Burrell (17.72) was 6th in the 110m hurdles, junior Silas Wagaman (11.89) was 3rd in the 100m with senior Brett Rudy (12.03) in 5th, and senior Bergen Weiner (5:13.11) was 18th in the 1600m.
Wellsboro's 4x800m relay team (9:29.77) finished 11th.
Junior Frank Kewitt (17-ft, 1) was 13th in the long jump with junior Karter Witmer (16-ft, 7.5) in 15th, Kewitt (5-ft, 4) tied for 5th in the high jump, senior Hunter Brown (36-ft, 6.5) was 14th in the shot put and 5th in the discus (124-ft, 7), and junior Austin Richards (147-ft, 6.5) was 2nd in the javelin with Brown (138-ft, 6.25) in 4th.
For the girls senior Elizabeth Macias (9:38.47) was 7th in the 2000m steeplechase and 20th in the 1600m (6:18.88), senior Zoe Iseri (56.33) was 7th in the 300m hurdles, and the 4x800m relay (12:04.03) was 12th.
Junior Caitlyn Callahan (29-ft, 9) was 9th in the triple jump, senior Harmony Benner (26-ft, 9) was 13th in the shot put, sophomore Kiyah Boyce (68-ft, 11) was 12th in the discus, and freshman Emma Coolidge (91-ft, 4) was 8th in the javelin with junior Lauren Singer (88-ft, 1) in 11th.
Both teams are back in action on Tuesday, April 16 at home against Troy and Wyalusing.
