Weiner named to NTL XC All-Star team

Senior Bergen Weiner was named to the NTL Boys Cross Country All-Star 2nd team on Tuesday, November 27.

Weiner was the Hornets' top finisher throughout the season and won the quad meet with Sayre, Sullivan County and Towanda at 19:49. Weiner's best time of the season (18:50) came in his final meet at the PIAA District IV championships at Bloomsburg University. In 35 career meets, Weiner's best time was 18:20 from his junior year.

"I'm pleased that Bergen was recognized for his efforts and achievements this year," said head coach John Weiner. "Bergen is a strong, skilled runner with bright future that he is only beginning to glimpse."
