The Wellsboro Girls Tennis team won their second straight NTL championship as they defeated Towanda in a doubleheader on the road on Monday, October 8.
Wellsboro won the first match 5-2 and took the second 4-1.

The win ends the Lady Hornets' regular season at 12-2 (7-1 NTL). The team is back in action later this afternoon in the District IV Class AA playoffs. The #5 Lady Hornets drew a first round bye into the quarterfinals against #4 Bucktail at Muncy High School at 2:00 p.m.
