The B game was cancelled due to injuries.
In the boys game, Wellsboro picked up a 21-15 win. The Hornets held Sayre to just 4 first half points, while scoring 19, but Sayre came back and went on an 8-0 run in the third to close the score to 19-12, and held Wellsboro to just one basket in the fourth as the Hornets held on for the win.
"I thought we played a great first half of basketball," said head coach Jason Greenfield. "I was pleased with the way we came out on both ends. We just need to figure out as a team a way to close out games."
