Members of the Wellsboro Track & Field team competed at the Coudersport Booster Invite on Friday, May 5.
For the boys, senior Devan Warner (12.76) was 19th in the 100m, junior Wyatt Dean (24.93) tied for 6th in the 200m and was 11th in 400m (56.27), sophomore Trevor Weaver (2:28.14) was 15th in the 800m, freshman Austin Richards (5:26.83) was 12th in the 1600m, and senior Casey Hoover (20.28) was 8th in the 110m hurdles.
The Hornets were 6th in the 4x100m relay (49.64), 8th in the 4x400m relay (3:57.34), and 4th in the 4x800m relay (9:14.50).
Senior Dupree Hosey (40-ft, 9-in) was 2nd in the triple jump, junior William Miller (60-ft, 4-in) was 25th in the discus, and senior Brandon Lamphier (131-ft, 0.5-in) was 4th in the javelin.
For the girls, junior Cheyenne Sherman (15.70) was 19th in the 100m, freshman Savana Baltzley (30.45) was 13th in the 200m and 8th in the 300m hurdles (56.58), junior Jillian Graver (1:15.22) was 14th in the 400m, sophomore Elizabeth Macias (5:56.96) was 3rd in the 1600m and 3rd in the 3200m (13:23.25), and junior Grace Heckman (19.50) was 7th in the 100m hurdles.
The Lady Hornets were 3rd in the 4x100m relay (56.13), 6th in the 4x400m relay (4:59.24), and 4th in the 4x800m relay (10:54.30).
Sophomore Alivia Kennedy (4-ft, 3-in) tied for 10th in the high jump, sophomore Dahlia Hosey (14-ft, 10.25-in) was 4th in the long jump and 2nd in the triple jump (33-ft, 7.75-in), senior Hannah Lawton (26-ft, 1.75-in) was 6th in the shot put and 4th in the discus (87-ft, 3-in), and junior Grace Feil (83-ft, 3-in) tied for 8th in the javelin.
Both teams will be back in action at Northern Tioga on Tuesday, May 9.
