The Wellsboro Middle School Soccer team picked up a 4-0 shutout victory over North Penn-Liberty on Tuesday, October 25.
The young Hornets got goals from Kaeden Mann (2), Jena Boyce, and Will Poirier. Ethan Ryan recorded 4 keeper saves.
Boyce had one shot on goal and one goal, Kara Clymer had 3 shots on goal and one assist, Joseph Grab had 2 shots on goal and one assist, Cam Littleton had one shot on goal, and Mann had 4 shots on goal and 2 goals and one assist. Poirier had 2 shots on goal and one goal and one assist, Matt Richards had one shot on goal, Owen Richardson had one shot on goal, and Jon Wetzel had one shot on goal.
Wellsboro also won the B-game 3-0. Dustin Benedict had 2 shots on goal and one goal, Gavin Gardner had 3 shots on goal and one goal, Aiden Magli had one shot on goal as well as Brody Morral, and Owen Richardson had one shot and one goal.
The win improves the Hornets record to 10-0 on the year with 2 games remaining.
