The Wellsboro Girls Tennis team started the 2016 season with a 6-1 win over Galeton on Tuesday, August 23 at Packer Park.

The win starts the Hornets at 1-0 for the year, and the win was also the first career win for first-year head coach Brianna Thompson. The team will return to action on Thursday, August 25 in Bucktail.
