Members of the Wellsboro Track team participated in the Molly Dry Invitational at Mansfield University on Friday, April 15.
The girls team finished 15th overall with 24.3 points, while the boys were 17th with 9 points. Mifflinburg won the girls meet with 64.3 points and Jersey Shore won the boys meet with a score of 111.
In the girls meet, Wellsboro was 12th in the 4x800m (11:42.7) and 5th in the 4x100m (52.3), senior Haley Zuchowski (17.71) was 8th in the 100m hurdles and 15th in the 300m hurdles (53.72), senior Jada Jackson (13.44) was 6th in the 100m and won the triple jump (35' 4.75").
Sophomore Anna Bleggi (6:04.58) was 17th in the 1600m, freshman Zoe Iseri (1:12.97) was 30th in the 400m, freshman Elizabeth Macias (2:52.82) was 31st in the 800m and 21st (13:47.45) in the 3200m, senior Lindsey Graver was 14th in the 200m (29.56) and 11th in the long jump (15' 2"), junior Allyssa Boyd (26' 6.25") was 20th in the shot put, junior Hannah Lawton (77' 1") was 16 in the discus, junior Samantha Spurgeon (89' 8") was 12th in the javelin, senior Raisa Rogers (4' 8") tied for 2nd in the high jump, senior Mikayla Feil (4' 6") was 12th in the high jump, and senior Joey Taft (8') was 9th in the pole vault.
In the boys meet, Wellsboro was 7th (9:27.29) in the 4x800m and 13th in the 4x400m (4:23.98), freshman Aidan Perry (7:44.1) and senior Isaac Leach (7:44.11) were 5th and 6th in the 2000m steeplechase, sophomore Connor Brought (5:29.83) was 29th in the 1600m, junior Devan Warner (1:00.25) was 25 in the 400m, and Isaac Leach was 20th (2:21.79) in the 800m.
Junior Brody Coolidge (26.71) was 31st in the 200m and 14th in the javelin (135'), Perry was 22nd (11:12.37) in the 3200m, and freshman Isaac Wagner was 34th (16' 5.5") in the long jump.
The teams will be back in action on Tuesday, April 19 against Wyalusing.
