"Liberty played hard, but we were ready," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "The team is playing very well. We were playing Liberty for the 3rd time, so it was tempting to take them for granted. Jonathan Nelson, in particular, played very well at 2nd singles and 1st doubles for Liberty. Our overall depth helped bring the victory."
The win improves the Hornets' record to 4-8 (2-3 NTL). The team will have their final regular season match and Senior Night later today against Cowanesque Valley.
