Hornet golfers struggle at Clinton County

The Wellsboro Golf team traveled to Clinton County Country Club for a non-leauge match on Thursday, September 22.

The Hornets struggled on the afternoon as they finished fourth out of 4 teams with a score of 403. St. Joe's Catholic took home 1st with 361, followed by Central Mountain (366), and Mifflin County (400) in 3rd.

Sophomore Ben Barnett led the Hornets on the day with a round of 87, followed by sophomore Brandyn Tuttle with an 89. Sophomore Taynton Repard shot 104, freshman Ty Morral finished with a 117, Chris Richardson shot 121, and junior Kyle Reese rounded out the team with a 136.

The team will return to NTL play on Tuesday, September 27 as they host the league at Tyoga Country Club at 1:30 p.m.
