Hornets fifth at Towanda Country Club

The Wellsboro Golf team racked up another fifth place finish on Thursday, September 10 at Towanda Country Club.
Towanda shot 361 to pick up the win on their home course, followed by Northern Tioga (374), Athens in 3rd (384), Northeast Bradford in 4th (387), Wellsboro (396), Sayre in 6th (410), and Mansfield in 7th (420).
Freshman Brandyn Tuttle led the team with a round of 97, followed by senior Ryan Reese (98), sophomore Aidan Moore (99), freshman Ben Barnett (102), senior Stone Alexander (106), and sophomore Zach Lundgren (129).
The Hornets are now 6-12 (6-12 NTL) on the season. The team will be back in action on Wednesday, September 16 as they travel to Shepard Hills Country Club.
