The Wellsboro Track teams competed at the 18th Lock Haven High School Classic on Saturday, April 25.
The girls team finished in 18th place with 16 points and the boys tied for 17th with 14 points.
The girls' 4x800m relay team of Junior Camryn Keane, Seniors Annie Sweeney and Caitlynn Butler, and Freshman Anna Bleggi were 14th (11:25.52), Junior Jada Jackson was 11th in the 100m (13.52), Senior Lauren Bleggi tied for 14th (13.71), and Junior Lindsey Graver was 30th (13.92). Anna Bleggi was 35th in the 1600m (6:07.77), Butler was 42nd in the 400m (1:08.71), and the 4x100m relay team of Lauren Bleggi, Junior Emma Eccher, Graver, and Jackson was 3rd (51.97).
Junior Haley Zuchowski was 10th in the 300m hurdles (50.3), Keane was 45th in the 800m (2:42.75) and Sweeney was 58th (2:48.39), Lauren Bleggi was 10th in the 200m (27.91) and Graver was 27th (29.06), Jackson was 4th (16' 9.25") and Graver was 13th (15' 8.25") in the long jump, Jackson was 4th (35' 4") in the triple jump, Junior Raisa Rogers was 10th (4' 9") and Junior Mikayla Feil (4' 7") tied for 11th in the high jump, Senior Meghan Bodine was 46th (22' 10") and Sophomore Allyssa Boyd (22' 5.25") in the shot put.
For the boys, Senior Jack Chambers was 19th in the 110m hurdles (17.79), Senior Michael Pietropola was 5th in the 100m (11.74), Junior Isaac Leach was 36th (5:04.17) and Junior Dakota Cleveland (5:08.96) was 41st in the 1600m, Senior Kieron Smethers was 7th in the 400m (53.78) and Sophomore Devan Warner (1:02.04) was 56th, and 4x100m relay team of Pietropola, Smethers, Senior Nick Marple, and Junior Rich Tardieu were 2nd (45.41).
Chambers was 11th in the 300m hurdles (43.45), Leach was 43rd (2:17.04) and Cleveland was 50th (2:19.87) in the 800m, Smethers tied for 12th (24.39) and Warner was 60th (26.86) in the 200m, Pietropola tied for 24th (18' 8") in the long jump, Tardieu tied for 9th (39' 7.25") in the triple jump, Marple was 10th (5' 9") and Tardieu was 13th (5' 7") in the high jump, and Senior Jonas Benner was 27th (38' 7.5") in the shot put.
The teams will be back in action on Tuesday, April 28 as they host Northeast Bradford and Troy.
