Hornet Golfers third at Tomasso's Country Club

The Wellsboro Golf team ended the 2015 regular season with a third place finish at Tomasso's Country Club on Monday, October 5.

The Hornets shot 369 as a team and finished behind Towanda (339) and Athens (347). Northeast Bradford (369) finished fourth, Northern Tioga (374) was fifth, Mansfield (391) was sixth, and Sayre (393) was seventh. Athens and Towanda both finished with 38-4 league records to share the NTL crown.

Senior Ryan Reese led the Hornets with a round of 87 on the afternoon followed by fellow senior Stone Alexander with a 93. Freshman Brandyn Tuttle shot 94, sophomore Aidan Moore finished with a 95, freshman Taynton Repard had 100, and freshman Ben Barnett rounded out the team with a 101.

The team finishes the regular season 17-27 (17-25 NTL).
