Volleyball falls to Troy on Senior Night

The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team lost 3-0 to Troy during Senior Night on Tuesday, October 14.

Troy won the sets 25-20, 25-18, and 25-23 to claim the victory. Senior Peyton Wilson led the team with 8 assists and 6 points. Junior Darci Warriner had 8 points, 2 kills, and 17 digs, Senior Paige Carr had 10 digs, Senior Jordan Butters had 5 kills and 4 points, and Sophomore Morgan Florio had 7 assists and 4 kills.

In the JV game Wellsboro won 2-1 (27-25, 19-25, 16-14) to improve to 14-2. The loss drops the Varsity team to 10-6 (4-5 NTL Division 1).

The team will be back in action on Thursday, October 16 as they travel to Liberty.
