Lady Hornets tie Troy

The Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team took Troy to doulbe overtime and played to a scoreless tie on Thursday, October 2.

Both teams had three corner kicks and Troy out shot the Lady Hornets 26-11, but Freshman Goalie Kailee Clymer made 14 huge saves to keep the Trojans scoreless on the night.

In the JV game, the Hornets lost 1-0 to fall to 3-5-2.

With the tie, the Lady Hornets are now 6-5-1 (6-4-1 NTL). The team will be back in action on Saturday, October 4 as they host Sayre.
