The Wellsboro Varsity boys and girls track teams competed at the 17th annual Lock Haven High School Invite on Saturday, April 26.
The girls finished 18th overall with 16.33 points.
For the boys Junior Jack Chambers was 22nd in the 110m hurdles at 18.19 and 11th in the 300m at 44.15, Sophomore David Zavetsky was 31st in the 1600m at 5:10.78, Senior Joey Doganiero was 9th in the 400m at 52.74 and 9th in the 800m at 2:06.3, Sophomore Rich Tardieu was 15th in the 300m hurdles at 45.48, Senior Dylan Prough was 23rd in the long jump at 19', Senior Blake Gamble was 24th in the shot put at 39' 3" and 25th in the discus at 101', and Junior Ben Davis was 18th in the javelin at 131'.
For the girls Junior Lauren Bleggi was 15th in the 100m at 13.57, 11th in the 200m at 28:27, and 10th in the long jump at 15' 7", Sophomore Samantha Bailey was 29th in the 1600m at 5:59.56, Junior Caitlynn Butler was 36th in the 400m at 1:07.56, Senior Kaelyn Keane was 26th in the 300m hurdles at 53.96 and 19th in the javelin at 86' 2", Sophomore Camryn Keane was 36th in the 3200m run at 13:24.52, Sophomore Lindsey Graver was 21st in the 200m at 28.74, Sophomore Jada Jackson was 2nd in the triple jump at 36' 4", Sophomore Raisa Rogers was 8th in the high jump at 4' 9", Senior Alex Kurtz was 27th in the shot put at 28' 7" and 18th in the javelin at 88' 9", and Senior Katie Straniere was 12 in the discus at 95' 2", 4x100m relay team was 2nd at 50:61, and the 4x400m relay team was 14th at 4:32.64.
Both teams will be back in action on Tuesday, April 29 as they host Williamson and Northeast Bradford.
