Hornet Volleyball defeats NEB, 3-0

The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team pushed their win streak to four games as they defeated Northeast Bradford, 3-0 on Tuesday, September 16.

The Lady Hornets won 25-8, 25-4, and 25-23 for the victory.

Sophomore Kirsten Florio led the team with 7 kills and sister Morgan Florio had 7 assists, 11 points, and 3 aces. Junior Maddy Kyle scored 21 points and had 7 aces, Junior Darci Warriner had 5 kills, 6 points, and 3 aces, and Junior Mikayla Feil had 5 kills and 3 blocks.

Senior Peyton Wilson recorded 9 digs and Senior Paige Carr had 7 digs in the win.

In the JV game, the Hornets won 2-0 (25-14, 25-2) to improve to 5-0.

With the win, Wellsboro improves to 4-1 (0-1 NTL Division 1). The team will be back in action on Wednesday, September 17 as they travel to Canton.
