Hornet swim team competes at Williamsport Coaches Invite

The Wellsboro Varsity swim team competed at the Williamsport Coaches Invitational on Saturday in their first meet of the season.

Freshman Nathan Cotner took 4th place in the 50 Freestyle in 23.92 and 1st in the 100 Freestyle in 51.51. Senior Blair Carson was 7th in the 100 Butterfly in 1:02.73 and 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke in 1:07.29. Junior Emilie Kramer was 2nd in the 200 IM in 1:23.87 and 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke in 1:15.47.

Sophomore Mikayla Feil was 2nd in the 50 Freestyle in 26.44 and 6th in the 100 Freestyle in 59.95, and Freshman Olivia Kurtz was 3rd in the 50 Freestyle in 26.83 and 4th in the 100 Freestyle in 58.23.

The team will be back in action on Monday, February 10 as they compete at the NTL Swim Meet in Sayre.
