Senior Brittany Redell will continue her swimming career as she will swim for Messiah College next year.
Redell was the team's top finisher in the 100 yard backstroke with an 8th place finish in 1:06.15 at the PIAA District 4 Girls Championships. Redell also took home a 5th place finish in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 59.02.
"I am very blessed to be swimming for Messiah College," Redell said. "When I went there to visit, Coach Luley said that her stroke coach was there watching me at Districts and said I was full of raw talent.
"Luley told me there was a spot on her team for me if I wanted it, and I am just very excited to be a part of a collegiate team and to have that second family."
WellsboroAthletics.com would like to congratulate Brittany and wish her the best of luck during her college career.
