The Wellsboro Middle School volleyball team continued their undefeated season with a 2-0 win over Mansfield Wendesday night.
The A team controlled the match, winning the games 25-8 and 25-13.
Rachael Tuttle led the team with 15 serves, with 13 of them in a row. Tuttle also added 5 spikes and 1 kill and Jillian Graver had 5 spikes. Brianna Keane did an amazing job retrieving balls off the net and putting the tight ones over. Kyra Keck stepped into the setting position and was able to get four sets off to her middle and outside hitters.
"After struggling with serving on Monday against Williamson, everyone played well and received ample playing time," said head coach Jenn Outman.
In the B game, the Lady Hornets won 2-1 (26-28, 25-22, and 15-12).
With the win, the team improves to 12-0. The team will be back in action for their final game of the season as they host Canton on Saturday, October 19 at 10:00 a.m.
