The Wellsboro Middle School volleyball team needed three games to beat CV Wednesday night.
The Lady Hornets won 25-20, lost the second game 25-23, and won the third 15-3 to take the match. This was their first time all year they played into the third set.
"We had a very unusual night last night with a late start to the A game due to our game refs showing up late," said head coach Jenn Outman. "However, we finally came out to play in the last set, as the scoreboard indicates."
In the B game, the Lady Hornets won 25-21 and 25-22.
With the win, the team improves to 10-0 and will return to action on Monday, October 14 as they travel to Williamson.
