M.S. volleyball continues hot streak

The Wellsboro Middle School volleyball team continued their winning streak with a 2-0 victory against Cowanesque Wednesday night.

The Lady Hornet A Team won 25-19 and 25-21 to stay undefeated at 3-0. 8th graders Racheal Tuttle and Lizzie Poirier had 9 and 4 spikes, respectively while 8th grader Brianna Keane recorded 23 sets. Poirier was also good on 11 of 13 serve attempts.

In the B game, the Lady Hornets won 25-11 and 25-19. The team will be back in action on Saturday, September 14 as they travel to Northeast Bradford.
