Girls soccer ties Northeast Bradford

The Wellsboro Varsity girls soccer team picked up a tie due to lightning against Northeat Bradford Wednesday night.

Sophomore Jenny Young scored the lone Wellsboro goal, while the Lady Hornets took 13 shots on goal on the night. Junior Meghan Bodine recorded 3 saves in goal on the night.

The game was called with 28 minutes remaining in the second half, and has been made official by the NTL.

With the tie, the Lady Hornets are now 1-4-1 (0-3-1 NTL) on the year. The team will be back in action on Monday, September 16 as they travel to Wyalusing.
