"I was very happy with the work ethic of the team," said head coach John Shaffer. "We faced a bit of adversity with injuries and the whole team stepped up. Aaron played a huge game in the midfield. Dan stepped into the center of midfield and played great. Erik was clinical up top finishing every chance he got. It was a great overall game."
With the win, the Hornets improve to 7-2 (7-2 NTL). The team will be back in action on Saturday, September 28 as they travel to Mansfield to take on Liberty as part of 1890's Weekend.
