"It was a well played game for our team tonight. Our girls really made a statement against a solid Towanda team," said head coach Darrell Morris. "We jumped out to an early 16-5 lead in the first quarter and continued to play good team defense and rebound well throughout the game. I am very excited about how balanced our team has been lately. Other teams can't just key on one player, because we have 10 girls who can all play."
In the B-Team game, the Hornets fell to Towanda, 17-12.
With the win, the team pushes their season record to 12-2. The team will be back in action on Tuesday, March 27, as they host North Penn.
