The Lady Hornets suffered their biggest loss of the 2011-12 season as they fell to Towanda, 71-25. The team struggled right out of the gate as they allowed three Towanda players to reach double-figures in points. Senior Taylor Acorn led the team in scoring with 8 points, while Junior Mackenzie Marple led the team with 6 rebounds. With the loss, the Lady Hornets are now 7-7 (5-1 NTL West) and have dropped 4 straight games.
In JV action, the Hornets got 14 points from Jordan Butters in a hard fought game, but eventually fell to the Black Knights, 36-24.
The team will be back in action on Thursday, February 2, as they travel to Wyalusing.
