The Wellsboro Middle School girls basketball team picked up their 10th win of the season as they defeated CV, 34-14. Alexa Singer led all scorers with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Sarah Ingerick and Emma Eccher each added 5 points each, with Eccher also adding 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Jenny Young, Darci Warriner, and Jada Jackson contributed 4 points each, with Jackson pulling down 5 rebounds.
"It was a solid team win in which our girls did a good job of working the ball around and finding the open player," said head coach Darrell Morris.
In the B-Team game, Wellsboro won 15-6. The team will be back in action on Thursday, March 22, as they travel to Galeton.
