Hornet volleyball drops Coudersport

The Wellsboro volleyball team picked up a 3-0 win over Coudersport Tuesday night in Wellsboro.
The team won 25-18, 25-16, and 25-23 as they picked up their first regular season victory of the 2012 season. Senior Hannah Zuchowski had 18 kills and 9 points, Mackenzie Marple pitched in 13 assists, and Kaelyn Keane contributed 11 points and 6 kills to lead the Hornets.
In JV action, the Hornets defeated Coudersport 25-16, 25-19 to pick up their first win of the 2012 season.
The team will be back in action on Thursday, September 6, as they begin NTL play against rival Mansfield.
