Hornet middle schoolers fall in season opener

The Wellsboro Middle School boys basketball team A-Team fell in their season opening game to Bucktail 45-42. The game was a hard fought one for Wellsboro, but the Hornets were unable to come away with a victory. Dawson Prough had 25 points and Joe Allen had 15.

The B-Team also lost to Bucktail by the final score of 38-24. Brandon Bower had 8 points and Jake Singer had 6 to lead the Hornets.
