Towanda drops Wellsboro in 3

Towanda dropped Wellsboro in 3 straight games at Towanda Tuesday night. Junior Hannah Zuchowski had 20 kills and seven digs, Senior Erika Wilson had 12 digs, Junior Mackenzie Marple had 12 assists and seven points. Senior Marissa Cornell added 10 assists, Senior Tarah Doty had five points and Sophomore Kaelyn Keane chipped in with two kills. With the loss, Wellsboro falls to 7-7 overall and 5-5 in the NTL West.

In JV action, Wellsboro beat Towanda 2-1 to improve their record to 12-2. The Hornets will be back in action Thursday, October 20 as they host the Sayre Redskins.
