Hornets fall to Canton on Tiebreaker

The Wellsboro Area Cross Country teams traveled to Mansfield today to take on Mansfield and Canton. The boys ran an outstanding race with District 4 rival Canton. The race was close throughout the entire 5 kilometers. In the end the two teams both scored 28 points. The tie breaker went to Canton by virtue of the fact that their 6th place runner beat Wellsboro’s 6th place runner.
Jordan Jackson was the overall boys champion with Bob Owlett a close second. Garrett Webster, Bobby Hill and Joey Doganiero placed 6th, 8th and 11th respectively.
