MS Volleyball 2nd at Williamson Tournament

The Wellsboro Middle School Volleyball team took home second place at the Williamson Tournament on Saturday, October 17.

The young Lady Hornets went 7-1 in pool play as they beat Williamson (15-10, 15-11), Galeton (15-10, 15-6), Towanda (15-13, 15-8), and split with North Penn-Liberty B (10-15, 15-11).

In the championship rounds, Wellsboro beat Canton 25-22, then beat Galeton 25-19, 25-21 in the semi-finals to advance to the finals against North Penn-Liberty A. The Lady Hornets fell to NPL A 25-13, 25-17 to take home second place.

The team will be back in action for the final game of the year tonight at Williamson.
